Day 9: A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words)
Note: I know this was supposed to go up yesterday, but I've been having internet problems. Enjoy!
I try to be mindful of the pleasant moments around me, and when I'm in beautiful areas, that mindfulness is pretty easy to come by. Whether it's impressive architecture or thoughtfully-tended flowers, I try to pause for a moment to soak it all in. With the rain we've had the past few days, the grass has become lush and bright, and the sun feels like a gift of relief. Sometimes, when the arc of the tree branches perfectly frames the way up ahead, it's worth it to pause and smile.
